Senate president Ahmad Lawan has responded to the charge of attack submitted by Senator Elisha Abbo against a lady in Abuja.
The legislator from Adamawa state was supposedly gotten on camera slapping a lady in a shop following encounter.
The Senate president in a few tweets said he has established an adhoc board of trustees to research the claim.
He said he has set out to lead a National Assembly that is capable and receptive to the general population.
He expressed: “After calls I got from inside and outside the nation, the judgment of Nigerians and the focuses raised by my kindred partners, I have established an adhoc council to research the claim of ambush favored against Senator Elisha Abbo
“The constitution of the panel is in accordance with my purpose to lead a National Assembly that isn’t just capable yet receptive to the general population we speak to. The council is relied upon to turn in its report inside about fourteen days.”
