Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been precluded of his side’s outing to Manchester United on Saturday with hamstring damage.
Kane scored twice as Spurs beat Liverpool 4-1 on Sunday, before being substituted in the 88th moment. The 24-year-old is the main Premier League scorer this season with eight objectives.
“The specialist and therapeutic staff settled on the choice to not go for broke,” said Spurs supervisor Mauricio Pochettino. “There is no sense in going out on a limb and making the issue greater.” A tweet from Spurs said the damage was “a minor strain to one side hamstring”.
Kane has scored 13 objectives in 12 appearances in all rivalries for Tottenham this season – who sit third in the Premier League table. Manchester United are second in the table, level on focuses with third-set Spurs.
