Ben Bruce questions Buhari for supplanting a southerner with northerner as new DSS DG

Ben Murray-Bruce, the Senator speaking to Bayelsa East senatorial locale in National Assembly, has questioned President Muhammadu Buhari’s most recent arrangement of new Director-General of Department of State Security, DSS.

Day by day POST reports that Buhari had in an announcement through his Spokesman, Garba Shehu, named Yusuf Magaji Bichi as the new Director General of the security organization.

Magaji replaces Matthew Seiyeifa, a local of Bayelsa State, who has been working in acting limit since Lawal Daura was sacked couple of months back.

Responding to the improvement on his Twitter page, Ben-Bruce asked why Seiyefa, who was the main Southerner heading an insight office was supplanted by a Northerner.

He tweeted, “Seiyefa was the main Southerner heading an Intelligence organization. He was skilled and steadfast.

“In light of a legitimate concern for government character and North South adjust, President @MBuhari ought to have held him. Bichi might be skilled, however in what capacity can all Intelligence be going by Northerners?”
